Inochi no Tabi: Gathered bits of Baldios

Baldios Movie

   Home/Change Series

Movie "Uchuu Senshi Baldios"--a.k.a. "Space Warriors" (U.S.A.) and "Yaltus" (Cuba)--debuted in Japan on December 19, 1981. (And I absolutely do not recommend watching the movie's English-dubbed version--crappy rewrite, doofy name changes, abysmal voice acting...*shudder*)

Although intended to run 39 episodes, the "Baldios" TV series was cancelled with nearly a quarter of its story still untold. Its 31st episode was the last to air, ending the show on a huge cliffhanger in January 1981. But the show had a fan following both loyal and vocal--and 11 months after leaving TV, "Baldios" returned as a theatrical film that combined footage from some of the TV episodes (especially episodes 17, 18, and 29) with a slew of newly animated scenes to bring the story to its definitive end.
